There are far more actions and actors involved than straight forward communication.

Computers relay information. When computers communicate with each other you are projecting human qualities onto them through your choice of words.

Besides, “heat communicated“ is a stretch of meaning of metaphor in your words and not in the acts.

The utterance does not equate to the action. Separate acts.
